Oregon DB Austin arrested after fatal hit-and-run

    • Participated In Washington State University.Oregon protective back Daylen Austin was arrested late Monday in connection to a deadly hit-and-run, according to the Eugene Authorities Department.”This is an intricate examination and EPD is still collecting details to be submitted to the Lane County District Attorney’s Office for a last charging decision,”cops said in a statement.According to authorities, a 46-year-old man was eliminated around 9:10 p.m. Monday when he was struck approximately 2 miles from the university campus. No further information were provided.A hit-and-run with an automobile is a Class C felony in Oregon punishable by approximately 5 years in prison.” We are aware of the incident and are waiting for additional details,”a spokesperson from the University of Oregon said in a statement.Austin stayed in the Lane County prison as of Wednesday morning, online records

      on defense, while preserving his redshirt. He got to Oregon from Long Beach Poly High in Southern California, where he was ESPN’s No. 142-ranked player in the class of 2023 and the No. 11 player in California.
