Davis, dropped by UofL, denies he looked for transfer

LOUISVILLE, Ky.– Louisville states it has actually dismissed Koron Davis, hours after announcing the junior guard had informed the program of his intention to transfer.The school stated it supported Davis and” wished him well in the future”in a short release just before Wednesday night’s game against Arkansas State. The release did not offer any information about his dismissal. A one-sentence release announcing his decision to move earlier in the day expressed the very same sentiment.Davis, however, required to social media soon after the school made the announcement, stating that he never interacted to the school that he wanted to transfer.

“I didn’t express to anybody at U of Louisville that I wanted to transfer,” he wrote. “I never asked to transfer. I enjoy being a Cardinal. The fact an official declaration was launched offering false information is frustrating and sad.”

Davis was in the represent the Cardinals’ 75-63 loss to the Red Wolves however did not speak with press reporters.
