WWE RAW Team Breaks Up Without Any Payoff

It appears a WWE RAW team has parted methods without any benefit.

Grayson Waller popped up on RAW this past Monday for a backstage sector with The New Day. The “Big G”, as Waller called himself, referenced Austin Theory’s injury before informing Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston A-Town Down Under is “lastly done.”

Waller has actually been trying to sign up with The New Day for the previous couple of weeks. He was previously seen prowling in the background trying to make a case for himself. When it comes to Theory, the previous tag team champion was most recently seen on the July 17 episode of WWE Centerpiece against El Grande Americano.

WWE had been teasing A-Town Down Under’s split on RAW for months

In spite of teasing A-Town Down Under’s separation for months, WWE never ever shot on the group’s implosion. Waller and Theory even worked versus each other during their triple threat NXT Championship match against Oba Femi at WWE Vengeance Day 2025.

Preferably, Waller would have gone his way after a fight with Theory. This would have culminated in Austin’s babyface turn as a reward for the implosion. However, his reported injury seems to suggest the imaginative team had to create another angle. This is likely the one that fans saw on WWE RAW this past Monday.

A-Town Down Under last competed on the June 26 broadcast of WWE Main Event, where they lost to The War Raiders. Theory and Waller won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania XL. The SmackDown titles were rebranded to WWE Tag Team Championship, which the pair dropped to #DIY in July 2024.
