Kelly stated the play opened up for him to make the deal with and showed that Jones tried to go low and he went low, too.” I’m simply wishing him,” Kelly stated.”I said my piece to him when he was on the stretcher. I have actually got nothing however love for him
. I hope he has a quick healing. “Viewers in L&N Stadium fell silent as medical personnel from Virginia and Louisville quickly rushed to tend to Jones as he lay on the
grass, and a cart quickly got in the field.Players from both groups knelt for about 15 minutes as Jones was dealt with and carefully raised onto the board with his head wrapped in between two pads, and after that onto the cart as Cavaliers players collected around.Fans and players praised Jones as the cart left the field. “We are getting some motivating news, but I do not desire say anything until we get it formally,”Elliott stated.”It’s an extremely, very hard truth of the sport that we play, that every play can end that
way, and you don’t want that for any person. Man, I understand one thing:(Perris Jones) is a hard young man and he
lays it on the line whenever he heads out there for this football team.(We’re)thinking and praying that he’s going to have a complete healing. I’m putting that in the Lord’s hands and I’m requesting that ahead of time and believing that that’s going to hold true.” Louisville rallied to beat Virginia 31-24.
