Utah QB Increasing (knee) back at spring game
Apr 13, 2024, 06:47 PM ET SALT LAKE CITY– Camera Rising is right on schedule in his resurgence from a severe knee injury.Rising led the offense for 3 series in Utah’s spring football game Saturday. The senior quarterback had a strong outing in his very first live game considering that sitting out the whole 2023 season, tossing for 208 yards and two touchdowns while finishing 15 of 19 passes.He led the Red team to a 41-21 success over the White.

I have] been accruing a lot of associates and it’s excellent to be out there with the guys making plays and seeing them go.” Rising will provide Utah valuable veteran leadership in the group’s Big 12 launching after leading the Utes to Pac-12 titles in 2021 and 2022. Entering his 6th season with the Utes, Increasing has a deep familiarity with offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig’s offense. Increasing was able to totally participate in spring practices and direct the offense again. “Camera did not miss one minute of spring ball in any way, shape, or form,”Whittingham said.”He was back to his old self. “Increasing might have a new playmaking threat as a target for his passes in the fall. USC transfer Dorian Vocalist tallied a team-high 92 lawns on five catches throughout the three drives Increasing directed the offense.Before playing for the
Trojans last season, Vocalist invested two years at Arizona and racked up 1,105 lawns and six goals on 66 catches for the Wildcats in 2022. “We have actually been tossing the ball as much as we can, just attempting to go out there and get that chemistry,”
Rising said.Brant Kuithe, who had not played since October, 2022 while recovering from his own major knee injury, also participated in Utah’s spring game on Saturday. Kuithe ended up with 25 yards
on two catches.
