
UND’s search for associate head men’s hockey coach begins
GRAND FORKS– UND is starting its look for Dane Jackson’s top assistant coach.The school
posted its associate head males’s hockey coach position Monday. The task posting closes in a week at 11:55 p.m. April 21.
It is the last open position on Jackson’s staff.Jackson was hired late last month as UND’s 17th men’s hockey coach.The projected salary is listed at$ 185,100 to $222,100.
Last week, Jackson worked with Bryn Chyzyk to function as the team’s general manager and lead UND’s recruiting, transfer portal management and lineup management.Jackson also confirmed he
will keep Dillon Simpson as an assistant. Simpson was employed by previous coach Brad Berry two years ago.College hockey teams are enabled to have four full-time coaches.Chyzyk is designated as one, so he’s enabled to hire off campus.

of 7 years of experience coaching college or junior hockey and/or playing at the pro level.
