UGA RB Etienne accepts plea deal in DUI case

Jul 11, 2024, 02:13 PM ET DUI charges versus Georgia running back Trevor Etienne were dismissed Wednesday when he pleaded no contest to careless driving, underage belongings of alcohol and two other driving offenses.Etienne made his plea throughout a hearing in Athens-Clarke County (Georgia) Municipal Court.

“We’re pleased the proof didn’t support the DUI charge to begin with,” Etienne’s attorney, Kim Stephens, informed the Athens Banner-Herald. “We’re pleased the lawyer’s workplace saw that and consented to something that wasn’t a DUI.”
