Sources: Vandy to employ NMSU’s Beck as brand-new OC

Vanderbilt is set to work with Tim Beck, the offensive planner at New Mexico State, as the school’s new offensive coordinator, sources told ESPN.Beck is an experienced coach who spent 10 years as the head coach at Division II power Pittsburg State, including coaching them to a nationwide title in 2011. Beck played a critical function in New Mexico State’s historic season, as NMSU ranked No. 31 nationally in overall offense heading into the day.
