first Missouri Valley regular-season title since 2000. Terre Haute. After an 11-20 campaign in 2021-22, the Sycamores went 23-13 last season, including a win over Missouri Valley champ Drake.Prior to being hired in 2021 to replace Greg Lansing, Schertz was a successful Division II coach at Lincoln Memorial. Under his tutelage, the Railsplitters went to three Division II Final Fours and won 30 games four times. Throughout his 13 seasons as head coach, he went 337-69, winning 83% of his games.Schertz also spent time as the associate head coach at High Point and Queens University, and started his training career as an assistant coach at Division II Lynn University.If an offer comes together at Saint Louis, Schertz would replace Travis Ford, who was fired recently after 8 seasons with the Billikens.
