Shedeur Sanders’ frustrating getaway ends on bench: You want to
Browns General Manager Andrew Berry said Saturday the team has no problem keeping four quarterbacks on its 53-player lineup. Shedeur Sanders did not play well during the preseason game versus the Rams but expects to be among the quarterbacks who sticks.
“Clearly,” he stated, by means of Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal.
Sanders went 3-of-6 for 14 backyards and 5 sacks in 5 second-half possessions. The Browns pulled
Sanders for Tyler Huntley, the 5th quarterback on the depth chart, with 2:03 staying and the team down 17-16. Huntley directed a six-play, 46-yard drive that ended with a game-winning basket on the final play.Sanders would have delighted in the chance
to do what Huntley did.”So general, naturally you want you can [
return and alter it], but in the battle of the moment, in the heat of the battle, you want to be that alpha, “Sanders said.” You want to be that pet. You want to be out there in that last two-minute drive. So of course, little things, of course annoy, but that’s what takes place when you want to be a player to be able to alter a franchise. “Sanders played well in the first preseason game versus the Panthers, didn’t play the 2nd with a minor injury and after that had an outlining Saturday. He ended up the preseason 17-of-29 for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns. “I believe total it was fantastic,”Sanders said of his two trips.
“I think every day is a new day. Every day you learn various things, and it’s definitely life lessons you discover out of every scenario. So I’m coming out training school and whatever happy that I got the chance. “
