Oklahoma State star running back Ollie Gordon II was jailed Sunday early morning on suspicion of driving under the influence, Oklahoma Highway Patrol validated to ESPN.According to the
likely cause affidavit, cannon fodders pulled Gordon over in the Oklahoma City area after he swerved his automobile into the adjacent lane twice and was caught speeding 17 miles per hour over the speed limitation of 65. During the stop, a cannon fodder identified the smell of alcohol in the car. Gordon confessed he had an open bottle of vodka and of tequila, which, according to the affidavit, were discovered half empty. Gordon at first refused a sobriety test. He was arrested on problem of DUI, transportation of an open container of alcohol, failure to keep single lane traffic and speeding. At the Cleveland County Prison, Gordon signed up a blood alcohol level of 0.11 and 0.10. Oklahoma’s legal blood alcohol material limit for driving is 0.08%. An Oklahoma State spokesperson said that the school was “mindful” of the incident.Gordon won
the Doak Walker Award last season, offered to college football’s top running back.
He led the country with 1,732 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns.He was voted Big 12 preseason offensive player of the year Tuesday by media members who cover the conference.
