
Omaha’s Crutchfield extended after 1st NCAA bid

OMAHA, Neb.– Omaha coach Chris Crutchfield received a three-year contract extension through the 2029-30 season after he led the Mavericks to their first appearance in the NCAA Competition, the school revealed Friday.The Mavs won
their very first Summit League regular-season and tournament championships and lost to St. John’s 83-53 as a No. 15 seed to end a 22-13 season.Terms of the extension were not revealed. Under his previous agreement, Crutchfield got a base salary of$275,000 this season. He likewise made$45,000 in rewards for winning the Summit titles and being named conference coach of the year.” It is an honor to continue as the head males’s
