NC State’s Smith will leave Wolfpack, get in draft
NC State sophomore Terquavion Smith, a predicted first-round choice, will state for the 2023 NBA draft, he informed ESPN on Tuesday.
“I’m forgoing my college eligibility and going all the way in,” Smith said. “I’m happy for whatever the NC State coaching staff and fans have provided for me. This is the ideal decision for me to take care of my family.”

“I revealed a lot of various things this year,” Smith said. “Teams wanted to see me be more of a point player, making the right play, making the right decisions. They wanted to see me enhance my ending up, and I increased that. I showed I can be a leader.”
