    McCall left throughout the first half of the Wolfpack’s 30-20 win over Louisiana Tech with a concealed injury and did not return.McCall had a hard time early, going 9-of-13 for 54 yards. After leading a drive that resulted in a basket, McCall was seen heading into the locker space with a towel over his head.NC State did not explain the nature of the injury. Coach Dave Doeren told press reporters after the game he would not comment on McCall’s injury up until his weekly press conference on Monday.True freshman quarterback CJ Bailey entered the game in place of McCall and led the Wolfpack to the win.

    Bailey finished 13-of-20 passes for 156 lawns with one interception and included 27 lawns and a touchdown on the ground.McCall transferred to NC State from Coastal Carolina in the offseason, wishing to lead the Wolfpack to an ACC championship. Instead, it has been a rocky start, as the Wolfpack entered into Saturday off a 51-10 loss to Tennessee.
