Mitchell’s Rickey Nelsen competes at World Bench Press Championships in

DRAMMEN, Norway– Mitchell’s Rickey Nelsen contended at the International Powerlifting Federation World Classic Bench Press Champion on Tuesday in Norway, ending up in 6th place in his division.Nelsen, who was contending in the 66-kilogram Master 1 weight class, had 2 effective lifts at 120 kgs (264.55 pounds) and after that at 127.5 kilograms (281 pounds), before failing to complete his 3rd lift at 137.5 kilograms, or 303 pounds. The 43-year-old was completing worldwide champions for the

very first time. He won the Powerlifting America Bench Press Nationals champion for his department in February in New Orleans.
