John Elway will not deal with charges after death of former

Denver Broncos legend John Elway will not deal with charges after an investigation into the death of his organization partner and former agent Jeff Sperbeck. Constable Chad Bianco informed 9News in Denver the examination into the matter is over, and police discovered “absolutely nothing criminal.”

Sperbeck died in April in a golf-cart occurrence. Sperbeck supposedly fell out of the golf cart– which Elway was reportedly driving– and struck his head on the asphalt. He was taken to a regional medical center, where he passed away. Sperbeck was 62.

Following an examination into Sperbeck’s death, Bianco called it a “tragic mishap,” per 9News.

“It’s over,”Riverside Constable Chad Bianco said in an interview Friday with 9NEWS. “We’ve spoken with everybody included and we found nothing new. There was nothing criminal, it was what we have actually been saying all along that this was a terrible mishap.”

Bianco included that he viewed video of the incident several times, and might not describe why Sperbeck fell off the golf cart. The video apparently revealed no circumstances of horseplay or swerving, per 9News, which also reported no one involved was intoxicated.In the video, Sperbeck apparently fell straight backward and strike his head on the asphalt. After being alerted of the occurrence, Elway apparently stopped the golf cart and called 911. Bianco said he did not believe Elway was intoxicated after listening to the 911 call.”I listened to the whole 9-1-1 call,”Bianco said informed 9NEWS

in May.”He was very articulate. He was really responsive. He was not slurring his words. He was not hesitating in his action with the dispatcher. It was a regular urgent conversation.” Following Sperbeck’s death, Elway released a declaration stating he was” devastated and heartbroken.

“Sperbeck served as Elway’s representative during his 16-year NFL career. After Elway retired, the two went into organization together, releasing a winery in 2015.
