Ffrench signing up with Bama as second top-tier WR in ’25

in the 2025 ESPN 300, is the 2nd highly promoted receiver to pledge to the Crimson Tide in the 2025 class, following Saraland (Ala.) High School first-class wideout Ryan Williams (No. 3 overall), who committed in October.
“I understand it’s early and stuff like that, however I seem like I understand what’s right. I understand what I’m getting myself into,” Ffrench informed ESPN last month. “I’m prepared. I will be gotten ready for that next level.
“I believe I’m going to fit in well, the way I run my paths, the way I’m [able] to produce separation from protectors and get open and be a big-time playmaker. I believe that’s what Coach Saban enjoys. So he did a great task by hiring me. So I believe it fits completely.”
Ffrench selected Alabama over Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida State and Penn State. He is the 5th member of Alabama’s 2025 class, signing up with Williams, running back Anthony Rogers (No. 40 general), offending tackle Mason Short (No. 73) and guard Dontrell Glover (No. 162).
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Ffrench captured 44 passes for 671 backyards and 5 goals as a sophomore for Mandarin High School (Jacksonville, Fla.). He pointed out offensive organizer Tommy Rees’ arrival in Tuscaloosa from Notre Dame as a big selling point.
“They have a fantastic training staff,” Ffrench stated. “They’re going to prepare me for the next level, day in and day out. I get to break the top people every day in practice, stuff like that. They have a great facility. They have a fantastic support system. Whatever is there for you simply to do absolutely nothing however prosper.”
