Colorado HC Sanders to miss Pac-12 media day

Colorado coach Deion Sanders will not participate in Pac-12 media day since of a “regular, follow-up” treatment on his foot arranged for Thursday.

“Sadly, his recovery will prevent him from going to Pac-12 media day, however he is completely anticipated to be back coaching in time for fall camp,” the school said Wednesday in a declaration. “Everyone at CU wants Coach a fast healing and we eagerly anticipate seeing him back on campus quickly.”

According to the statement, Colorado defensive planner Charles Kelly will represent the school Friday at Pac-12 media day, along with quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback/receiver Travis Hunter.Editor’s Picks

Deion Sanders published a video on Instagram with what seemed a doctor, who verified the Hall of Fame cornerback is going to have “a couple of surgical treatments” on Thursday to get rid of another blot clot in his ideal leg. Medical professionals also will straighten two of Sanders’ toes so they do not cause anymore discomfort in his shoes.

Sanders had successful surgery last month to repair embolism in his left leg, according to Instagram posts from both him and his fiancĂ©e, Tracey Edmonds.
