CHAN 2024: Morocco unveils its team for the competitors

Tarik Sektioui count on a deep and knowledgeable group in pursuit of a 3rd continental crown.CHAN 2024: Morocco reveals its team for the competition Head coach Tarik Sektioui announced on Wednesday, July 23, the list of 28 Moroccan players picked to contend in the 2024 African Nations Champion. The tournament will take place from August 2 to 30 across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.Morocco has formally exposed the last squad of the local Atlas Lions for CHAN 2024.

Led by Tarik Sektioui, the Moroccan side heads into the eighth edition of this competition with numerous players drawn from clubs well-versed in continental fights, such as RS Berkane, Raja and Wydad Casablanca, along with AS FAR.The Moroccan team finds itself in Group An along with host nation Kenya, Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia.

The locally-based Atlas Lions will begin their project on August 3 versus Angola at Nyayo National Arena in Nairobi. The remaining three group phase matches are scheduled for August 10, 14, and 17.
