Bama PG Quinerly to go into portal as graduate transfer

He averaged 12.9 points throughout his first campaign in Tuscaloosa, then started 27 games as a junior and averaged 13.8 points and 4.2 assists.After tearing his ACL in March 2022, Quinerly relocated to the bench this previous season– but coach Nate Oats placed him into the starting lineup for the SEC and NCAA tournaments.

    Over his final 9 games, he balanced 14.4 points and 4.0 assists, shooting almost 38%from 3-point range.Without Quinerly, Oats will need to rely more heavily on transfers Aaron Estrada(Hofstra) and Latrell Wrightsell (CSU Fullerton)and returning starter Mark Sears(12.5 PPG).
