AHS Selected for Major Weight Room Remodelling by the Thielen

The Thielen Structure was developed in 2018 by NFL wide receiver Adam Thielen and his partner, Caitlin Thielen. We hope the new space will influence and motivate youth to reach their complete capacity on the field/court, in the class, and beyond,” The Thielen Structure shared through a Friday release. “At the Thielen Structure, we believe that each student-athlete deserves the proper devices and environment for their athletic season, and we wish to make one school’s weight room that much more unique this year!”

Preplanning is underway, and present equipment will be relocated to a newly designated space at Ellis Middle School and is expected to keep the AHS restoration on track. It will provide more youthful student-athletes expanded access to training devices– opening brand-new chances in physical education, sports, and general wellness.

“This restoration supports our activities program by offering services for both in-season and off-season training,” Superintendent Dr. Joey Page said. “It will bring advanced devices to Austin High School and develop on the strong foundation, providing students and professional athletes access to a modern-day, versatile training environment.”

Building and construction on the brand-new Austin High weight room is set to increase at the end of May and will take roughly four-six months to finish. A ribbon-cutting will be held at the completion of the project.
