The Shamrock Series will go back to Yankee Arena in November, when Notre Dame deals with Army in a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the fabled 4 Horsemen, it was revealed Wednesday.Notre Dame will play Army on Nov. 23 in a game that will celebrate the Irish backfield of Jim Crowley, Elmer Layden, Don Miller and Harry Stuhldreher. Those players were celebrated by Grantland Rice in the New York City Herald Tribune following Notre Dame’s 13-7 upset of Army in New York on Oct. 18, 1924.
