    • Graduate of Northwestern University.San Diego State hired Sean Lewis, the Colorado offending planner and previous Kent State coach, as its new head coach on Wednesday.Lewis invested the 2023 season with coach Deion Sanders and Colorado, managing offending play calls for the very first eight games before former NFL coach Pat Shurmur took control of throughout the final month. Lewis, 37, developed his track record on high-tempo, vibrant offenses, which he used as an organizer at Syracuse, Bowling Green and Eastern Illinois before leading Kent State’s program from 2018 to 2022.
