
Zambrotta explains brand-new role and wants to see ‘various Italy’

Italy World Cup winner Zambrotta will join his former 2006 teammate Simone Perrotta and ex-Italy coach Cesare Prandelli in a brand-new project introduced by FIGC to exploit the capacity of young Italian players.
“I’ll be dealing with Cesare Prandelli and Simone Perrotta. Together with Maurizio Viscidi, Club Italia, the Technical sector, the Youth and School sector,” Zambrotta told Gazzetta.
“Our goal is to help young players grow. In the coming weeks, we’ll meet to lay the foundation for a speculative task that will take advantage of everybody’s input and support.”

Gattuso will make his debut worldwide Cup qualifiers against Estonia on September 5.
