WMass Boys Volleyball Roundup: East Longmeadow sweeps Frontier, stays unbeaten

East Longmeadow kids volleyball moved to 7-0 on the season Tuesday night when they beat Frontier in straight sets [25-9, 25-19, 25-23]

Ben Mannheim played a key role in the success for the Spartans, tallying a game-high 15 eliminates and including two aces. Cole Berthuiame likewise did his part for East Longmeadow by publishing 19 assists.

For Frontier, Tavo Vincent-Warner and Nate Rivera were leading performers. Vincent-Warner notched 19 assists and 6 digs, while Rivera cracked in 17 digs and six eliminates.

The win marks the extension of a dominant start to the season for the Spartans, as they’ve dropped only 2 sets so far this year. They’ll look to stay unbeaten when they travel to face Commerce on Friday, April 18 at 5:15 p.m.Meanwhile, the
