What are FBS college football conference tiebreaker rules?
In the brand-new 12-team College Football Playoff format, there is an added focus on championship game. The 4 highest-ranked conference champs receive a first-round bye and a 5th conference champion is ensured a spot in the field. Those champions will be identified by conference title games held Dec. 6-7.
