Punches tossed as Michigan beats Michigan St

Oct 26, 2024, 11:44 PM ET ANN ARBOR, Mich.– Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and Michigan State protective end Anthony Jones pressed, shoved and butted helmets, activating a skirmish with the competitors tossing punches as the final seconds checked off the clock Saturday night.

“It was heat-of-the-moment type stuff,” Loveland stated at a postgame press conference after the Wolverines won 24-17.

Loveland might have cooled down at his news conference on the Big 10 Network.

“Lil bro remain doing little brother things,” Loveland informed BTN on the field. “So MSU is the little bro. They can do whatever they desire. We understood it was going to get chippy. Whatever within the confines of the game, we do right. And after that after if they want to get hectic, we’ll get busy.”
